Laparoscopic Metzenbaum dissecting scissors from Aesculap's ADTEC monopolar range have curved jaws at the end of a long shaft. PO746R is the jaw insert, 420 mm (16-1/2 in) long and 5 mm in diameter. Its 22 mm double-action jaws are finely serrated with blunt tips. Aesculap lists the insert as tungsten carbide. Paired with the PM981R outer tube and PO958R handle, it forms complete instrument PO027R.
