Arthrex's AR-2300 PASTA Depth Guide measures partial-thickness rotator cuff tears arthroscopically. PASTA stands for partial articular surface tendon avulsion. It has two pieces: a needle-tipped inner rod and a knurled outer sleeve marked Arthrex AR-2300. The rod tip carries 3 mm markings for sizing the exposed footprint. The sleeve slides over the rod, and a scale numbered 9 to 29 on the rod's back end reads total tendon thickness.
