About this product
The cutting jaw on this arthroscopic punch faces backwards, toward its own shaft and handle. The handle is stamped ARTHROTEK, 902153 and MADE IN USA. Below that sits the patent mark USP 5,443,475. Arthrotek was granted that patent in 1995 for the back-biting design. The jaw opens about 60 degrees toward the shaft and closes into a basket that holds the cut tissue.
