This is an anterior Kerrison rongeur with a long straight shaft, a hand instrument for cutting tough tissue. The shaft is engraved BMI 32-1502 and 5 mm, with Germany Stainless on the handle. The tip is angled upward. Orthofix lists the same number as the 5 mm anterior Kerrison rongeur in its Alloquent ALIF discectomy set.
