Cayenne Medical's CM-9100 bone awl makes the pilot hole for a 4.5 mm or 5.5 mm Quattro Link knotless anchor. A Zimmer Biomet rotator cuff repair guide lists it as the Quattro Link Awl. The 11-inch awl has a Cayenne logo on the handle and a stepped shaft that narrows to a point. It is advanced until the distal edge of its marker band is flush with the bone.
