Secondary bars like this 12 in (305 mm) Codman 50-1508 build the frame of a Greenberg retractor, a self-retaining system for neurosurgery. Its T-handle vise clamps onto the 50-1507 primary bar or onto another secondary bar. Retractor arms attach to the bar and hold the blades. The clamp block is marked Codman, 50-1508 and USA Stainless.
