Ball-and-socket links form the flexible shaft of this titanium surgical arm, engraved SOFAMOR DANEK and 960-221 on the head. That head carries a large knurled wheel with a projecting pin, and a smaller thumbscrew on its top face. At the far end the last link tapers to a rounded cap with a slim straight post projecting from it.
