Ratchet teeth run the whole length of the crossbar on this two-arm sternum spreader. One arm is fixed at the end of the bar. The other rides the teeth and carries a flat lever hinged at its top. Both blades are fenestrated, with three slots cut across each face. Two round studs and keyhole slots hold each blade to its arm.
