This Richards angular rongeur, catalog 28-2582, is a pliers-style hand instrument with angled jaws that bite away bone. Smith & Nephew's UDI record for catalog number 282582 lists it at 229 mm. Four pivot rivets join the handles to the jaws. A spring between the handles opens the jaws when released. The handle is engraved with a boxed R logo and 28-2582.
