Electrical stimulation through a probe locates the facial nerve, and WR Medical's Silverstein Model S8 supplies both stimulator and monitor. The stimulator dial spans 0 to 10 mA with a digital readout of current intensity. Front sockets are marked PROBE, SENSOR and PAD, alongside AUX return and active jacks. The panel also carries a monitor sensitivity knob plus pulse and incomplete stimulation lamps.
