Traction is applied to the head by this Vinke tractor, which locks eccentrically onto the outer table of the skull. Drill and undercutting tool sit in the case with the frame and instruction sheet. Guide bushings direct the drill and limit penetration into the bone, and a special tool undercuts the hole. One control knob adjusts the frame to the patient's head and centralizes the traction bail.
