Two trough-shaped blades hold a nasal passage open in this Cushing-Landolt speculum, used in transsphenoidal pituitary surgery. The shank is marked AESCULAP OK102. Aesculap's catalog record for OK102R gives the blades as 110 x 15 mm. A flat round knob turns the screw that spreads them.
